Jade Cuttle holds a first-class honours degree in Modern & Medieval Languages & Literature from the University of Cambridge and an MA in Creative Writing (Poetry) from the University of East Anglia. She has been commissioned to write poetry for BBC Radio 3’s ‘Words and Music’, BBC’s Contains Strong Language performance festival, and for the BBC Proms’ Official Guide. Jade is an editor at Ambit and judging the Costa Book Awards 2019 (Poetry). Selected as a Ledbury Poetry Festival Emerging Poetry Critic and winning Best Reviewer (Editor's Choice) in the Saboteur Awards 2018, Jade reviews widely. Her criticism regularly appears in publications such as the Guardian, Times Literary Supplement and The Telegrap. Fusing metaphor with melody, Jade released her debut eco-themed album of poem-songs 'Algal Bloom' with funding and support from the PRS foundation and Make Noise in January 2020. She currently works full-time at The Poetry Society and is a tutor at The Poetry School.
